Saturday April 27, we will open the exhibition Red Utopia by the Dutch photographer Jan Banning.
After the fall of the Berlin Wall and the disintegration of the Soviet Union, communist ideology has partly ended up as history. In the exhibition Red Utopia, however, we meet people who still support communism.
Jan Banning combines an artistic look with a documentary approach. He has received great international recognition for his photo series, which often address sensitive and complex topics.
We are pleased to have the photographer himself present at the opening of the exhibition, together with curator Astri Fremmerlid.
