Marin Parr is an English documentary photographer and photojournalist, known for his photographic projects where he uncovers contrasts, absurdities and clichés in our everyday lives. Although his photographs are fun and surrealistic, there is a sharp and strategic thinking behind his work. In 1994, Parr was accepted as a full member of the prestigious Magnum Photos agency. Andrea Holzherr is responsible for Magnum’s international business and has worked as an exhibitor and curator for the agency since 2008. On the occasion of the exhibition Life’s a beach she visits Perspektivet Museum for a conversation and a guided tour.
